3D Visualization in Lahore

Studio-grade visualization for stills, films and walkthroughs. The drawing — to the wireframe — to the rendered frame — to the photograph. We treat every output as architecture in another medium.

05 · Steward

Post-occupancy stewardship

The building doesn't end at handover. Annual return, performance monitoring, soft-skin issues fixed, long-term tuning. We document the building's second decade and adjust as it ages.

06 · Monitor

Performance monitoring

Smart-home telemetry, climate sensor data, energy use, daylight quality, occupant feedback. Annual performance reports, with adjustments fed back into the next building.

Five phases — line to image.

Typical timeline · 3 — 8 weeks per scene
Phase · 01

Brief

What's the render for? Sales suite, awards submission, study, marketing, design review? The brief shapes everything — the camera, the time of day, the mood, the format.

Duration1-3 days
Phase · 02

Model

3D modelling from drawings, including landscape, neighbouring buildings and context. Camera placement studies, three options for review. Materials approximated.

Duration1-2 weeks
Phase · 03

Materials & light

Material library built from real specifications. Lighting modelled with site-accurate sun-path. Mood test renders for client sign-off before final pass.

Duration1-2 weeks
Phase · 04

Render

4K (or 8K) final renders. Multi-pass rendering for compositing flexibility. Grade and post in Photoshop. Two rounds of revision included in every brief.

Duration3 days
Phase · 05

Deliver

Print-ready files, web-optimised exports, social formats. AOR projects continue with stamping and approvals. Stewardship engagements continue annually.

⟶ Questions · 05

Eight things clients ask first.

Q · 01 Do you do renders for buildings you didn't design? +

Yes — about 40% of our visualization work is for other architects and developers. We treat the source design with the same care as our own. We sign NDAs as standard, and we never publish a render without explicit permission.

Q · 02 Which render engine do you use? +

For stills: V-Ray for 3ds Max (our default for photoreal) or Corona (for warmer interiors). For cinematic: Twinmotion or Lumion. For VR: Twinmotion + Quest 3 or WebXR. We'll match the engine to the brief, not the other way around.

Q · 03 What does AOR (Architect of Record) mean? +

AOR is the architect who holds legal responsibility for a building in a given jurisdiction — signs the drawings, manages the permitting, presents to authorities. We act as AOR across Pakistan for international design architects who don't hold a local licence.

Q · 04 How does the fee work? +

Pricing depends on the deliverable, complexity and timeline — every project is unique. Stills, films, AOR and stewardship are all quoted per project. Tell us what you need and we'll share a tailored proposal.

Q · 05 How real are your renders compared to the finished building? +

Very. We model materials from real specifications and light from actual site sun-paths. Our internal benchmark: a side-by-side render & photograph should be hard to tell apart at web resolution. We refuse to render materials we haven't specified, because that breaks trust later.

Q · 06 What's stewardship — really? +

It's our promise that the building doesn't end at handover. We return at 6 months, 12 months, and every year afterward. We document, photograph, troubleshoot. Year-one stewardship is included in every architecture commission. After that, it's a small annual retainer.

Q · 07 Can I license your renders for marketing? +

Yes — you own the renders we deliver, with reasonable use rights for sales, marketing, awards submissions, planning consultations. Source files (.max, .blend) are available as an add-on if you want to do future revisions in-house.

Q · 08 Do you publish anonymised performance research? +

Yes. With client permission, we publish anonymised post-occupancy data in academic and trade journals. It's how the practice learns. Every building is also a research project — and our clients have always supported sharing what we've learned.
